Satellite Server provides several provisioning methods to deploy bare physical systems, virtual machines, and cloud instances.
Provisioning templates use Embedded Ruby (ERB) syntax to combine plain text with Ruby code.
You can enable Capsule services, such as DNS, DHCP, and TFTP, and configure them on Satellite Server by using the satellite-installer command.
Satellite Server offers domain and subnet resources for managing network configuration.
Host groups expedite host provisioning by acting as a template for provisioning resource configurations.
The Foreman Discovery feature uses a discovery image to detect unprovisioned systems on the network.
Click CREATE to build all of the virtual machines needed for the classroom lab environment. This may take several minutes to complete. Once created the environment can then be stopped and restarted to pause your experience.
If you DELETE your lab, you will remove all of the virtual machines in your classroom and lose all of your progress.
