Red Hat Satellite 6 Administration
Red Hat Satellite is a systems management tool to configure new systems and provide software updates from the Red Hat Customer Portal.
Satellite components include Satellite Server and Capsule Server, and the latter provides a proxy for many Satellite functions.
By default, Satellite supports both Red Hat CDN, at https://cdn.redhat.com, and local offline CDN that follows the appropriate directory structure.
Satellite supports both connected and disconnected installation methods.
Organizations and locations support content-related functions, such as the management of products, repositories, and content views.
Hammer is a command-line tool to configure and manage a Satellite Server.
