Instructions
Access the servera console and reboot the system into the installation media.
Locate the servera console icon in your classroom environment.
Open the console.
To reboot, send Ctrl+Alt+Del to your system by using the relevant keyboard, virtual, or menu entry.
When the boot loader menu appears, select the menu entry.
Keep the default selected language and click .
Click to configure the network.
Enter servera.lab.example.com in the field and then click .
Click and then click the tab.

Because Red Hat Enterprise Linux is already installed on the servera.lab.example.com machine, the values for each of the required fields exist.
For a clean server, you must complete this information.
Click to save the network configuration, and then click .
Click to configure the network installation source.
Select the option.
Enter content.example.com/rhel9.0/x86_64/dvd in the network field.
Click .
Click to select the installation disk.
Select the vda disk and then click .
On the next page, click .
The /dev/vda disk already has partitions and file systems from the previous installation.
With this selection, you can wipe the disk for the new installation.
Click , and then click .
Click , select from the list, and then click .
Set redhat as the password for the root user.
Click and enter redhat in the field.
Enter redhat in the field.
Click twice because the password fails the dictionary check.
Add the student user and set student as the password.
Click .
Enter student in the field.
The field automatically fills student as the username.
Select to enable the student user to use the sudo command to run commands as the root user.

Click the button twice because the password fails the dictionary check.
Click .
Click when the installation is complete.
When the system displays the login prompt, log in as the student user.
After you validate the installation, reset the servera machine from the web page of the classroom environment.
